Concert: 8:00pm, Daniel Recital HallThe Baroque Flute Boot Camp is a rare opportunity to work with the world’s foremost expert on Johann Joachim Quantz’ 1752 work, Versuch einer Anweisung die Flöte traversiere zu spielen (On Playing the Flute), the definitive Baroque treatise of the 18th Century on traverso flute playing.
Fees: Can be paid in advance or at the door
Performer: $50 includes a 20 minute Masterclass coaching (No accompanist provided – Can bring your own) and admission to all morning/afternoon events and the evening concert. Performers will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please include a resume with your fee.
Auditor: $25 includes admission to all morning/afternoon events and evening concert.
Audit Per Session: $10
Concert Admission: $10 general, $7 with student ID

2:00pm – 4:30pm: Masterclass: Playing Bach Sonatas Stylishly on any Flute (No accompanist provided – Can bring your own)

8:00pm: Guest Artist Baroque Flute Recital in the Daniel Recital Hall.
